Despite the fact that the KTU does nothing to dissuade students from attending the potentially dangerous demonstrations in Seoul - even sometimes actively encouraging students to take part - they have reported on their website* that police seriously injured a middle school student with a shield during skirmishes at one of them. Instead of using this child as a propoganda coup isn't it about time that these fools behaved responsibly and started discouraging children from attending these massive demonstrations that have often turned violent? If their members started making the safety of the children in their charge paramount and warned them of the dangers of these 'vigils' incidents like this wouldn't happen. Not one to miss an opportunity like this the leader of the union actually paid the child a visit at the hospital! Cringe-inducing.
