Hello. First of all, I'm new, so there's that. Hello. Second of all, question.
My girlfriend and I are thinking about teaching English in Korea. She's Korean. She was born there and has lived in the US for about 15 years. She speaks English fluently. Will it be difficult for her to get a job teaching since she wasn't born in the US? |

She shouldn't have too much trouble, although there will be certain employers who won't consider her because she isn't white.
The demand for teachers exceeds the supply. If she has trouble, she should look at the public schools. |

That's what I was worried about. We'd like to teach at the same school if possible. That might make it a bit more difficult. |

Just tell the school you two will be a package deal. Shouldn't be a problem if you just want to work in a hogwon. |

I would say that most unis wouldn't care, either. |
