Hello there.

I have my first vacation next week, and have decided at the last minute that I want to leave the big smoke and head somewhere coastal. I live in Suwon, so was thinking of getting the KTX down to Busan...however I am worried that there won't be any accom in Busan at this time of year...and Busan is routinely slagged as a bit of a slopfest at this time of year (not by me though...haven't been there).

So...i was wondering if anyone had any other tips for locations for a two day midweek sojourn to the coast? Somewhere where there would be accom (happy with Love Motels...or even tents), and that is reasonably nice to visit. Tips on bus numbers from Suwon or anything of that nature would be nice...but I am not greedy. I am also going to post this in the travel section, as it is travel related...but seeing as it is internal travel I thought that I would post it here as well.

Hope you can help me to see more of Korea than just Suwon, Insadong, Hongdae and Yongsan!!

Cheers,

Burndog.

Yeosu has some nice beaches which are not as crowded as places like Busan's Haeundae.

We have nice cows too. And rice, etc

Has the insert image function been disabled or something?

Sounds grand...how does one get there from Suwon? Is there likely to be accommodation or will I have to get a six pack of Soju and sleep in a park?
