Dear friends
need some information.
i am an indian, currently living in seoul. I hold a master's degree in biosciences also have excellent teaching skills in english.
i have four years of teaching experience in India and abroad.
While searching teaching jobs in seoul, i came to know that indian nationals are not accepted to teach english in korea. But i have experience in teaching biology and chemistry subjects apart from English and can involve in SAT I /II programs.
I need ur valuable suggestions regarding where i can find a suitable position in Seoul. Also pls inform me if you know any persons related to this.
Thanks in Advance.
Hoping for some positivbe reply

From what I've read on these boards, I think they're changing the restrictions of what passports are acceptable for an English teaching visa, so you might be able to do that in the future. But I'm not sure when the new rules are starting, or if they're even official yet.
If you're looking for something before this happens, you might try international schools. I've seen some ads on Dave's for math/science teachers at international high schools in Korea, but I don't know if they'd have the same visa restrictions or would require a teaching degree. Good luck! |
