Does anyone know anything about RBI in Busan? They seem ok so far but you never can tell...

Run. Run like the wind. Don't look back.

Seriously.

Those bastards lied their flaming butts off to me, and then tried to blackmail me into keeping a bad job.

I posted my experience with RBI here:

PM me if you'd like the name of a solid recruiter.

Yeah I didn't have the best experience with them. They recommended jobs that were far out of the center of Busan and when I asked about a particular job, they would say, "Oh that one isn't available... take this crappy one." When I wouldn't somehow magically the good job reappeared. I decided I didn't trust them and applied directly with a school.

I know they work with a few legit schools. They brought me over. I didnt have any serious problems with the school they recruited me to, just the housing. But my school upgraded me after a few months.

In the end, its up to you. Have them introduce you to some schools and then contact the current foreigners and talk to them about conditions.

If the school doesnt seem right to you, just request another choice. I turned a lot of schools down before making my decision.

And dont just use one recruiter: use them all. And do so until you find what you want!

They sold me a whole song and dance about how they're owned by a Canadian, therefore they understand western culture.

Which is true... they are well aquainted with how to lie, western style.

I asked for a signed contract before I came over. Well RBI signed my contract *for* the school, so not to bother them. And then the school gave me a different contract to sign when I arrived.
