I heard that there were some decent deals over here for lenses but I'm not finding much! 27,000 for a box of acuvue (6 lenses, two weeks each) 25,000 for bausch and lomb (same), 20 for a generic box. I buy them off costco at home but it looks like they don't have that service here. Anyone get a great deal on contacts? Where? I'm in busan, but comment if you know of anything anywhere!

I haven't been able to find any discounts but a few stores will have loyalty programs. You should find a place that gives you a free box after making a certain # of purchases.

I was buying them at an optical shop in the Changwon Homeplus store last year. Your prices seem about right for the cheap ones. It is cheap compared to what they cost in the states due to having to pay an optometrist for the exam. Now, an optometrist is not needed since they have a hi tech machine that gives automatic and accurate prescription readings by scanning your eye. In America, they are still doing it the traditional as to keep expensive optometry going, but not in Korea.

I paid 42,000 at Homeplus for 3 pairs that last a month each and it includes the eye prescription test as free service as well as new case each time. In America, I would had paid about $250 to $400 for an exam and 3 months of lenses. Same for 1 pair of glasses.

I've been paying 70,000 for a box of 30 daily disposals. I pay around 50,000 back in the UK for the same amount.
