it is still better than this

and every other country. lame that this would even have to be said but... it does.

i am sure this will get retarded and unwieldy in no time but the canadians and brits think they have arguments. the koreans do too.

america rules this planet. there is no country that could overtake it militarily. There is no combination of countries that could do so.

Is this the basis of my argument? No, if anything, its just a symptom of it.

Well, I don't really know the purpose of the post...but, to each their own. However, I do disagree with you.

America has already started to crumble from within itself.....people are to preoccupied with their cell phone minutes, gas prices, their Burger King order, who gave them bad customer service, far left/far right bullshite clashing at each other, extreme religious minorities DEMANDING rights that go against the American culture, P.C. pricks, racist jerks on all sides, ......................

...need I go on?

America (like Canada) is lukcy, geographically. America would not have a chance if it were on the other side of the world. That may be hard to swallow, but I think it is true. Furthermore, American society is in such a downward spiral, I'm willing to bet that even if America was about to be taken over military, people would still not care and apathy would reign.

I love my country, but it is certainley on the downfall.

haha, the games begin.

first, ladies and gentleman, might we note the grammar and spelling errors with which this english teacher has blessed us.

this "american downfall argument."

economies work in cycles, boys and girls. i have day trading experience and could easily elaborate. not that i will.

time, obviously, money.

america took this sheet over in 150 years. a bunch of founding dudes had the right idea and they gave birth to us. do i really need to take this argument further?

h
Well, if pointing out mistakes in a post makes you feel better about life, then I am not one to keep that from you. However, I really don't care. So, bash away all you want.............AND..........it's not really a surprise to anyone here (especially since I am a horrible typist and I've only had one cup of coffee).

So, go on with your bad self.

I've already stated my piece on this topic and I stand by it.

When a country/empire falls within itself.....it is the end (or its close).

dmbfan

P.S. ATTENTION EVERYONE: dmbfan does not spell well on the keyboard......furthermore, he does not care. Why? Because it is Dave's ESL Cafe.....that's it. In addition, I don't need to make myself feel better by going through other posts and pointing out mistakes. I really don't care about the circumstances of others while they are typing. However, if I trully felt obligted to do so in order to fullfill some inquenchable need to act like a phucking retard....then I would do so. But, it is not the case.

Don't worry people, this is just another message of hate/trolling brought to you by Plus99. Don't worry about any comments he may post about your grammar and spelling errors as this is his only "true" form of retaliation against logic (attacking something not part of the argument).

I know this is retarded to do, but here's my reply to the statement regarding 'no country or combination of countries took take the US:'

Mutual Assured Destruction. If a country is willing to risk, the only question that would remain is if the US would be willing to surrender to save many lives or to perish so not to "lose" a war that cannot be won.

I really don't care about my or others' spelling mistakes. I have other things to worry about and consider.

Anyway, you brought up an interesting point/question. I'm not sure I can answer that, but I'll give it a try.

I think America is already too divided as a society. You have too many people who are not loyal to America, but only their ethinic backgrounds. Furthermore, there is something seriously wrong with having so many illegal immigrants in a country. Are they loyal to the Unite dStates? Nope. Are the all Korea/Chinese towns in big cities loyal to the United States? Probably not.

People have been blinded. Americans have forgotten what it means to be an American.....thanks to our politicians, media and corporation. Having true pride in your country has sort of been "outdated" or is not P.C., now.

People have grown fat, apathetic and ignorant.

So.......I think that those in the armed forces would do what they had to do in order to protect America and Americans......to the death. But normal civilians.......I think they would surrender (as a whole).

This is what happens when a country falls apart from within. I think the movie Apocolypto gave good detail to that meaning.....in a way.

Ya know, I went back to re-read your post in hopes of finding something that I missed. Perhaps you had something to back up your claims or a good though/idea.

You have nothing. All you have is baby talk and gibberish coupled with anger and finger pointing.........and an overblown ego.

Sorry man, but I don't speak your phucking language..................not today anyway.

America is going through a recession and personally the politics on both left and right are disgraceful.

But America is supporting many other countires. In Africa were forking over 100's of millions of dollars in aid to there governments and then forgiving the debt as they are considered highy "indebted countries" along with billions of dollars in food and medical aid.

What pisses me off with America is how with this "stimulus" check were getting they wanted to increase food stamps and unemployment checks. Not to be a bi$tch but I have some ghetto ass friends who will not get married to their boyfriends so they can get more $$$ from there govt. And they pop out kids left and right and laugh about how they don't have to work b/c the govt supports them. Then you have the people who are on disability for "back" problems but yet there well enough to have sex and make babies. I work my ass off to support these lazy a$$es.

San Francisco is like some bad medical experiement that went wrong. I can't believe they would not let the US military have a recruiting station there. All the citizens of Berkley think its OK if drugs were legal and there were no police. Yeah, Ok. You would have a bunch of crackheads robbing people. Seriously, give me a break. The only good thing to come out of San Fransisco is Ric-a-roni.

I love America, and you always hear the term "people gave their lives for your freedom" but I feel like not enough people put it into context. Could you imagine going up the beaches of Normandy ( with the Brits and Canadians) knowing you are more than likely going to die. When people go to France do they pay there respects to the thousands of gravesights of the dead Americans or do they just go the Eiffal Tower and eat a croussiant. Do you think anyone could be in South Korea if it were not for the US military. America always has tried to do the moral thing as much as people disagree with this. Yes we went into Iraq under false pretenses but Sadamm was killing his own poeple in massive chemical weapons explosions against the Kurds. He was a bad man and he deserved to die. The reason it went so wrong is because the a$$hole "upper management" of our govt. had no idea how to execute any kind of plan.

America was great but it is being ruined by so many things. Honestly the ancestors of slaves from the cival war are not going to get repirations from working in the cottom feilds. Just like the Jews are not going to get money for all the hard work they did making the pyramids in Egypt.

And if I see one more smug a$$ 18 year old kid with a Barack Obama shirt on that he bought at Urban Outfiitters thinking he would be cool but yet has no idea what Obama stands for I am going to scream. Does nobody think Obama is going to get asassianted by some Neo-Nazi skinhead. He better pick a good vice president.

For the record, I'm American, Californian to be exact, and not all of us think like this guy. I'm very patriotic but this thread is stupid. I apologize on his behalf.
