So, a really good friend (met him 5 years ago, when he first got in country) bought me a PSP slim, out of the blue, as a thanks/leaving present.

it has already been cracked/modded. Came with the actual PSP slim, a battery, a 4gig memory stick (with about 1/2 gig left of space on it), and the charger/AC cord.

I know I will want/need a backup battery, headphones (I have ones that will work, but I want the remote-style), another mem stick (for music)and a cover/case.

But there are TONS of accessories out for the things. So, do you have any suggestions for cool accessories? I figure, being not too far from Yongsan, I can probably locate just about anything I would want, but other owners advice most appreciated.

Cheers!

Glen

Don't think you will need an extra battery, unless you plan on using it a ton and cannot recharge anywhere. As for accessories, just get a screen protector. I have the GPS but since everything is in Japanese I haven't really used it.

IMO a 4gb card is big enough. How many games do you plan on playing at a time? I usually have 3-4 games and a gig of music on mine.

Get an ISO converter so you can shrink the games up a bit by making them CSO files. There are a bunch out there free for the download (legally).

The games i have are already CSO files; I'm going to browse Yongsan today & see what catches my eye.

Cheers!

Hori brand screen protector, wrist strap, carrying pouch of some type. I bought the extended life battery for my slim (w. colormatched battery cover) and now I have over 10 hrs play time on one charge w. screen brightness on second-lowest.
