I've got a white MacBook that has recently developed a crack on the right handrest. I've seen a lot of discussion on the internet about this, and that people have taken it to an Apple store to get it fixed.

I bought my MacBook in South Africa, so I'm not sure if the Apple stores here would fix it for me.

Has anyone here had their foreign-bought MacBooks repaired at an Apple store in Korea? The one in Coex Mall, for example.

Well they should, your serial number is in all the apple databases. I looked up my Korean macbook on US/CA sites and it has me registered.

How can you guys stand to get around on Korean sites with those things? I've used Safari on my IBM computer, and it doesn't do them all correctly.

Well, I use Firefox for my web browsing. I don't like Safari much. Don't have that many problems with the (few) Korean webpages I visit.

If I'm really having trouble, there's an old version of IE for Mac that I use as well.

There are no physical Apple stores in Korea. There are only authorized resellers. There are Apple Authorized Service Centers however. I would suggest taking your MacBook to one of them.
