Hey just curious if anyone has ever been able to find any where in Korea that sells cottage cheese. Maybe I am just an idiot, but I have never been able to find it. If it's a common item, where abouts do they usually keep it, and what's the korean name for it?

Thanks

Hannam supermarket, near Hangangjin station--I'm pretty sure it's labeled as ricotta, not cottage, cheese.

Ricotta cheese is a totally different type of cheese. Razz
Are you sure it's not actually ricotta? They kinda look the same, but taste different. And the value out of them are a little different too

I want cottage cheese specifically for the casein protein in it:

Cottage -
"Also, it can be used to replace grated cheese or ricotta cheese in most recipes (such as lasagna). It is popular among dieters and some health food devotees. Cottage cheese is a favorite food among bodybuilders for its high content of casein protein while being relatively low in fat."
- from good ol' Wikipedia.

Ricotta-
"Ricotta is produced from whey, the liquid separated out from the curds when cheese is made. Most of the milk protein (especially casein) is removed when cheese is made, but some protein remains in the whey, mostly albumin."
- from good ol' Wikipedia
