The truth is closer to this:

Of course, $199 isn't the real price, from either side. You, the customer, will also have two years worth of monthly payments to the evil telco of your choice |

Am I the only person who wants a cell phone that is just...a CELL PHONE! Seriously, why the hell does anyone need a phone with an MP3 player, games, video camera, still camera, office applications, blah blah blah????
Give me a phone with an internal phone book and the ability to text and I'm happy. I've got loads of other crap on my phone that I never use b/c IT'S A PHONE!!!!
And who really needs instant access to e-mail no matter where they are? You have to be seriously important to need that, or at least think you are.

I would love a plain cell phone.. Infact I hate cell phones because of my last job..
But
Have you ever used the Blackberry.. I love the emailing on that thing. Very handy for organization as well. |

My first colour phone was in KOrea this year.
Up until then I had a nokia 8210 from launch until 2005 then another 8210 until I came here.
Worked fine for me |

But with the mandatory service plan that has unlimited data transfer, you will end up paying more per year than the old iPhone. |

What's more, it isn't even running at full 3G speed, as some early testers have confirmed that the American 3G iPhone is still slower than the European Edge network.
I seriously cannot figure out why Apple do this time and time again like we're a bunch of idiots.
kprrok, some people buy phones to replace the many gadgets that they would usually carry (PDA, mp3 and camera). I would happily take a phone that doubles as a compact camera as well. You never know when a camera might come in handy for that wacky moment. |

I can't get a Nokia phone in Korea.
I can't get a Blackberry in Korea.
I can't get an iPhone in Korea.
For the reasons underlying the above-mentioned restrictions I would like to see Korea stomped into the ground--technologically and any other way-wise.
The arrogance of this country pales only in comparison to that of America and Canada (and I list those two countries alphabetically).
Withdraw troops from Korea? No.
Have Korea pay for its defense in full--YES!
Brag about being the most wired country in the world, eh? Proclaim the desire to be the Hub(tm) of Anything, eh? Why not brag about being one of the most parochial states on Earth?
The old married bastards of Korea (I can't hope to transliterate "old married bastard" to everyone's ajeossi-[satis]-faction) have caused so very much damage.... |
