Hamilton Hotel pool just opened last weekend. A month earlier than any other outdoor pool in Korea. They totally renovated the place. Looks great......the pool, the view, the ladies, the dj and the new bar! We spent the entire weekend there. Great times!
Another plus........one of the only places in Korea where you don't have to where a swim cap!
Also......no Kids!
A great place to spend the afternoon! |

Dude, do you own stock in the hotel or something? What a raving review, and you don't need to wear a swim cap!!! |

Anyone hang out at this place...?
Sounds like my worst ngihtmare -
A bunch of american / canadian jocks parading their torsos.... guys competing over the Korean princesses, strutting round in bikinis and high heels, talking on their cell phones in the pool.... Bunch of drunk English / Ozzies acting like louts.... Overweight American / Canadian girls in swimsuits.... insecure Korean guys strutting around and acting macho and comparing themselves to the whitties....
Maybe I'm just too old and cynical (31) - perhaps it's nothing like that at all right....?
Right.....? |

I liked the pool.
It was better than Caribbean bay last summer. Thousands of kids everywhere. Seemed like the wave pool wasn't a pool at all. Just one big mass of lifejackets.
Or the time at the Hangang pool. Seemed like every hour the lifeguards where asking everyone to get outta the pool. I mean everyone. Whats with that?
And yeah, I hate wearing those stupid hair cap when I swim.
As far as I'm concerned, it was a good time.
If I had more time, I'd head to one of the isalnds of Incheon, Busan, Daechon or Amungdoo (?). That reminds me....when is Mud fest this year?
"How much does it cost to access the pool?"
Sat we got in free. Sunday it was 10 000 won I think. |

A couple of my friends went last weekend and reported seeing lots of t1ts, tats, and man-thongs (yes, man-thongs!). The first one sounds alright, the second doesn't do anythiong for me, but the third one gives me nightmares... The waiter got thrown in the pool fully clothed and apparently a volleyball was dropped over the side and onto the street...
Sounds ok, but it'll get way too crowded fairly soon. |

If you like those meat market too-loud-to-hear-yourself-puke clubs, you'll love this pool. It's like High school all over again. Well, the worst parts of high shcool anyway. In thongs (for the guys)!
It ain't my cup of tea and I don't mean to rag on anyone else. But don't expect a nice afternoon by the pool. The lack of kids, head caps and the early start to the season are pluses, though. The pathetic posing, attitude, unnecessarily loud thumping music and lack of space are downsides. |

That was the best review of the pool I have ever read. Personally I think Itaewon sucks, but that's just me. I wouldn't be caught dead in that pool. Too mush poo and jizz floaters for me. |

The pool is open all week from 10-6. I think weekday admission is 10,000. Weekends is 15,000.
Yes, it is rowdy. Yes, it is noisy.
But it is a cool place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, if only for the eye candy and the freak show.
You guys really need to lighten up. |
