|
|
Hey all -
Yes I'm back in Canada now, but I know some of the people on this board to be very creative, so I'm here to take advantage and pick your brains!
I'm attending a wedding shower soon, and it is an alphabet theme. I have been assigned the letter "L" (rather I stupidly assigned it to myself haha), and am stuck on ideas, besides lamp or lollipop. Can anyone think of any ideas that aren't too crazy expensive since I am also paying for her bachelorette and a wedding gift?
It can be something that is purchased, or something creative, as she would definitely appreciate either one.
Thanks! |

| if you know the bride well, lingerie ( a gift certificate for a lingerie shop actually) will work. Linens would be a less racy alternative. |

Thanks for the ideas so far - not gonna lie, lingerie was the first thing to go through my head, as I do know her very well, but for the shower, Grandma will be in attendance, and I feel that would make her feel slightly awkward. Perhaps I'll just get her a "LaSenza" gift certificate in place of that, since it's also the letter "L".
I've also just thought of liquor. That could also work.
L is a lot harder than I'd anticipated for gifts. I planned the shower, and assigned myself the letter L as I thought it would definitely be easier than X or Z haha.
Anyway, if you have any more brilliant ideas, let me know!
Thanks! |

I'm a knitter, and Knitty is a really popular online knitting magazine. I remembered the pattern. |
