Hello again.
I am in the process of collecting data for my MA TEFL dissertation by e-mailing a list of questions out to people who say they would like to contribute (I asked for volunteers on here before). Although I have had a few responses, I have come up short, with a number of people vanishing into thin air. I am now at quite a critical stage- i.e. if I don't have all my data in by the end of the week I will be up to my neck in the brown stuff.
So... (sharp intake of breath)
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (that's FOUR pleases!) if anyone is working (or has worked within the last two years) at a Hogwan or public school and would not mind completing the questions (which concern working conditions/training/the use of native-speakers in Korea etc) I would be very grateful.
I need at least three subjects from both public and hogwan sectors.
All data will be confidential and anonymous.
Please PM me with you e-mail with a brief outline of what institution you work at/have worked at and for how long.
I'll post this on the job-discussion board too.
Again, this would really help me out.
Thankyou |

I have had a great response so far in such a short space of time, hats off to the eslcafe community! Keep them coming!!
But I still have a massive imbalance with regards KOREAN subjects. If anyone knows any korean co-workers or friends who would be willing to fill out my questionnaire, even if they themselves do not wish to take part, that would be helpful extremely helpful. If they're are a little nervous remember it is all confidential and I'm after their opinions, not testing them on grammar and spelling!
Thankyou for your help people. |
