I have a Scott SUB30 I've been using to get out of the city for a while - it's technically a commuter bike, but I use it like a road bike. I bought it with some extras for 700,000 won, then bought a nice Joe Blow floor pump for 30,000 won. The bike would come with the Joe Blow pump, a small pump attached to the bike, water bottle/holder, patch repair kit (unused), 2 extra tubes, folding allen wrench set, and chain lube. The bike is a small - I'm 5'4", and it could accommodate someone a bit bigger or a bit smaller.

My asking price is 550,000 won, but it's negotiable. Bike goes to the highest bidder : )

Wow. That's a nice bike. Too bad I'm 5'11". But my girlfriend might like it. By the way, are the wheels 700c or 26"?

Yeah, but Mokpo is pretty far away. Have you checked out transport options?

I'm not quite sure how to transport it, but I know Korea has good transport options using either the post office or the bus system. If it were necessary and I got a good price, I'd be willing to hop over to wherever the buyer is with the bike on a weekend.

If somebody wants it, you can take a bus to meet them and toss it underneath as luggage for like 7,000 won. You may want to take off the wheels and box it up in cardboard though real nice so it doesn't get scratched.

Do buses charge extra for luggage carried underneath?

no. they only charge if you're throwing something under and not riding the bus - and some times it's the person recieving, not the person sending the item, who has to pay.

also, i'm getting help selling my bike via a korean bike shop here in mokpo due to general lack of foreigner interest - so my bike isn't for sale anymore here. dear mods: this thread can be closed/deleted/buried/ignored at your discretion.
