| Don't pretty much all agricultural societies have a harvest festival of some kind? I think Massachussetts gets the credit for being better at advertising theirs. |

Texas for the US. That is if you don't count the Indians who had been doing it for years before that.
I was actually wondering about Canadian Thanksgiving after the Canadian food topic started. What do Canadians eat on Thanksgiving? Is it considered a holiday? Personally it is by far my favorite holiday, ever since I got too old to go trick-or-treating. |
