I'm heading over to the East Sea of Japan this weekend, but wanna tent rather than stay in a hotel. Is there anywhere to tent along the Naksan beach strip? Seems like it's a little too public.

This is a little off, but I can tell you for certain that there is tenting at Sorak Mountain National Park. It's a local bus-ride from Seokcho (1,000 won). How far away is that?
