My client is being tested by an outfit whose job is to evaluate the English abilities of employees, and I have a few questions about this type business.
First, what are the qualifications of the interviewers? How does one land a job in this area? What are the testing parameters; i.e, what do they usually evaluate? |

qualifications = none or maybe an BA and speak Engrish
how to get job = marry a Korean and get an F2
parameters = talk to me in Engrish
() tongue in cheek reply = not to be taken literally
BUT
it is probably more accurate than I care to imagine.

I am currently working in this field testing potential and current employees English speaking skills.
Qualifications = CELTA plus 2 years teaching experience.
How to get the job = Right place at the right time.
Evaluation points = fluency, lexis, pronunciation, discourse management.
