|
|
It upsets me to no end that cats here are not given the respect that they deserve. Instead dogs are considered the pet of choice, though they are also the food of choice. But clearly cats are better than dogs and here is why...
Cats are clean and you do not have to clean up after them, whereas,
Dogs are filthy animals that go to the bathroom anywhere they please.
Cats are independent and affectionate when it suits them, whereas
Dogs are blindly loyal and always affectionate (would you trust a person who was always happy?), in other words
Cats have a life when we are not there,
Dogs have no life if we are not there, therefore not well suited to being a pet in an urban setting.
Cats do not attack people unless physically threatened, whereas,
Dogs who are feral or live in their natural environment would not hesitate to hunt and kill a small child or infirmed person.
And most importantly,
a cat would never allow itself to be painted pink and touted around in a baby carriage!!
Can you think of any more? |

| Cats ARE better than dogs, although it depends on the sauce. |

My un-neutered boy certainly is. I'm waiting for him to make purebreed kittens for me, but at 10 months old he STILL hasn't figured out the whole sex thing. What the hell happened with instinct? |

| I haven't heard of any cats trained to help blind people, sniff out drugs or other things, or help save human lives, so I'd say dogs may be the greatest animal of all. Horses and elephants are cool too, and fish and chicken make for some good meals, as well as cows and pigs. |

| Cats are too small in a fight, if your home is being burgled would you prefer a siamese or a rottweiler. And a barbequed farm cat is one step from heaven. |

| If you have a stable home then dogs are great. But if your a young person and out and about alot then cats are the best. When I was in America I had a cat. I would crack the window and leave a bowl of dry food and leave for days. My cat would come in and out as it pleased. If I had a dog then no way. Dogs are HIGH maintenence....cats are LOW. |

Cats are too smart to be told what to do by The Man. Dogs are all "Yassa Massa!" |

I used to think that cats all tended to have the same kind of personality until I got a couple of cats of my own and saw how different each cat can be.
I miss my little kitty. |
