I was contacted about a position at the American City Language Schools. I asked my recuiter many questions about the position and she fowarded them to the Korean recruiter. I knew that I had to be careful with how i posed questions. The school decided not to interview me because of my questions basically. My question to you all should i find a new recruter becuase my recuiter in the US is new in this arena? What should I ask or not ask? I have done my research on hakwons and that is why i am hesitant. I a, an afircan american male so what more challenges do i face? I would also like to kknow what are some repetuable agenices to go through. I know the Korean recuriter was apart of MPNet Scout.....Any help will be appreciated

Strategy suggestion: Hold off on the list of questions until after a school shows interest in you. Maybe even until the interview stage. (Too many questions can make you look too demanding.)

I'm sure you know about the preference for a white face. There are places that will hire you, but keep in mind that there are places that won't. You will need to be patient.

I don't anything about recruiters.

Good luck.

If you work in a public school instead of a hogwan then you don't have to worry about whatever b.s. the recruiter will tell you. You may need a recruiter to get a public school job but that is just a formality.
