http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/06/06/news-outlets-complain-to-obama-campaign-about-secret-meeting/

Obama's camp told reporters he was leaving on a plane, so they all got on in anticipation that he was traveling to meet with Hillary, or probably meeting with her on the plane. Instead, the plane took off with the reporters but not Obama on board.

Classic, but he's not making any friends with the press.

Why would he bother making friends with the press?

But yes, that was an awesome move.

I'm looking to seeing him nudge and wink and joke about it later on.

Cool

Proof positive that the mainstream press are like cattle in the stockade.

Would have loved to have been a flight attendant on that flight just to capture the looks on digital camera.

So, in other words, Obama and his people are bald-faced liars. Great. No way this liar gets my vote.

These reporters are the same dudes who completely abnegated the responsibilities of their profession with regard to educating the public about the lies being told by the Bush administration prior to the Iraq invasion, and instead chose to do the easy thing and pander to war fever rather than risk being called unpatriotic. Today a lot of us regret having fools and lazy syncophants in such important jobs, and we can guess that quite probably the actual patriots were the million-strong crowds who marched in NYC a few days before the bombing campaign started.

These media hacks have a lot to account for, and aside from the NYTimes and one or two other places here and there, none have done the soul-searching or made the apologies for their malfeasance during those months.

I think they got off light by having a little prank pulled on them like that, but hey, if your lack of any sense of humor leads to sway your vote in a way you might regret later, guess that's your business.
