So I was almost prepared to go to Korea, and I was about to get my F4 visa (in Korea next month)... then, all hell breaks lose, maybe I'm slightly exaggerating, but today I realized that I lost my Canadian citizenship card!

Last month I went to the passport office to renew my passport, and I'm quite sure I had it with me because I knew that I needed that card to renew my passport. But I can't quite remember if the woman who was serving me returned my card or not, I know for a fact that she didn't return my spare passport photos that was in the envelope; I think she didn't see them so she probably discarded them. I was so rushed that day because the office was about to close, and I was almost the last person to leave that I might have left my citizenship card there. I will call them tomorrow in the hopes that they HAVE IT there. But for the worse case scenario, if I officially lost it, I will need to fork $547 for a new card to process within 15-20 days. Ouch.

So the big question is, will I be eligible for E2 (as I believe I won't need citizenship card for proof) and will I be able to go to Korea and teach without my Canadian citizenship card without any hassle? Would my passport suffice?

I thank you in advance; any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

For the purpose of Korean Immigration your passport will be what you need to get the E2 and to get into Korea. So you should be OK.
