| My wife and daughter - both Thai passport holders are coming with me to Japan on vacation. They are here already in Korea on tourist visas. How easy/difficult is it to get them tourist visas to Japan. |

If they had been here on F3s it would have been easy (they would have re-entry and residence) so the visa process would have been little more than a formality.
Since they are here as "tourists," have no legal right of re-entry to Korea and I assume they are on a "B" stamp you may have to actually prove no intent to re-locate to Japan as well as your legal standing as a married couple AND father to the child AND an exit ticket from Japan AND status to re-enter Korea or continue as a transient to Thailand.
It can be done but the paperwork may take a bit of running around.
