Korea Republic and Korea DPR delivered a dull 0-0 draw in a FIFA World Cup qualifier on Sunday.
The two Koreas had already qualified for the next round, and the Group 3 game lacked the same bite as their encounter in March.
With Park Ji-sung out through injury, Korea Republic coach Huh Jung-Moo opted for Kim Do-Heon as his playmaker, and the West Bromwich midfielder was at the heart of his side's best moments.
After a dreary first 45 minutes, Kim brought the near 50,000 home fans to life with a shot that took a deflection and forced Korea DPR's keeper Ri Myong-guk to make a flying save.
The away side's dangerman Jong Tae-se had a quiet night, and the powerful Kawasaki Frontale forward failed to trouble the southerners' defence.
Korea Republic substitute Park Chu-Young squandered the best chance of the night in the 74th minute, ballooning the ball over the crossbar from just outside the six-yard area when it looked easier to score.

Yeah, it was dull. Neither side were impressive in any way. |

I'd expect a draw in a friendly as a sign of reconciliation and international understanding.
A 0-0 draw in a World Cup qualifier is simply poor soccer or perhaps it was a defensive game. |

I was there. It is amazing how incredibly poor Korea's passing game is, and their shooting. They missed a gimme half-way through the second half that should have given them the victory. The DPRK had a few nice runs, and at least their shots were on goal, but somehow they allowed the ROK to possess the ball for most of the first half despite the ROK's poor passing. |

I watched the game last night too. South Korea's aim was horrible, it was almost like they were trying to keep the game a scoreless draw. I have watched three games between the 2 Korea's since 2002 and have yet to see one goal!!!!! I am honestly starting to believe that these games are rigged by their governments. |

Both teams had already qualified prior to last nights game and publicly stated that the 2nd stringers were going to be given a go...
