Looks like there are a bunch of different ones. Penguin feeding, some mermaid show, Seal Show, synchronized show, etc...
Anyone seen these shows? I've been to Seaworld Orlando, so I know the shows in Korea don't compare. However, I think ti would be nice to go see it with some friends.
Which ones are worth seeing and which ones can I pass on? |

I found the aquarium there quite depressing as so many animals are kept in tanks that are way to small for them. |

Yep, really really sad to see the marine mammals in the small tanks. |

Can't feel bad for the small aquatic life though, especially goldfish. They have six seconds of short term memory anyways. "I'm so sick of that f*cking castle I could--Hey! A castle!" |

I saw the seal loin show i think. I can't remember which one it was. There was a seal show, and on the same floor, on the opposite side, there's a walrus show. One's under water, the other, not. they were ok, but nothing special. the Aquarium at COEX is way better |

Come to Busan Aquarium. I'll make you part of the show! |

Diver, next time I'm in Busan, I'll hold you to that.
I've been to the COex Aquarium but I didn't see any aquatic shows listed.
The 63 building has the times for the shows, but they don't give any details on how long each show is. I'd hate to see one, have it last 15 minutes, and then sit around for a couple hours for the others. |

All right!
I think there will be mermaid shows at Busan Aquarium this summer, too. If the mermaids look like the mermaids from the last couple of years...the aquarium might try running "mermaid dives". They could prove to be more popular than the shark dives that's for sure. |

I started watching a show at the 63 aquarium and I walked away shortly after. It was a mermaid show geared towards very young kids. Just a woman diver dressed like a princess doing movements to some very loud annoying music. Kids seemed to like it though.
I watched some of the sea lion show too, but it was nothing special. A diver in the tank, and the lions put the balls through the hoops, stuff like that. I agree that the COEX aquarium is much better. |
