| Does anyone know the % of import tax levied on goods in Korea. I want to buy a watch from a US website, cost is around 200 US dollars. Anyone know how much import tax I can expect to pay when the shipment arrives in Korea. Thanks |

Generally, it's around 10% if it's over a certain amount. I don't know the rules. I had some things shipped my first year and my parents declared $500 US. I had to pay 50,000 won to get the package.
A lot of people will have their family or friends repack new items as "used" and use a much smaller declared value amount. |
