How does working in Korea stack up with Thailand, Vietnam, China and Japan? I liked Korea as a country while over there, but detested my boss and my job in general. I'm sure there are bad employers everywhere, but can you actually save up any money in a country besides Korea?

If only these other countries besides Korea had message boards on this site...it would probably be really easy to get the answer if there were.

Which there aren't, so don't bother looking. You must conserve your energy.

Laughing Sarcasm at its best. Kentucker did you ever even think about that?

It's nice to see two Southerners go at it... ;)

Seriously, you guys could go to Dave's for information about other nations in this region or check out Fourmosa.Com - it is a very cool site dedicated to Taiwan.

With regard to the coastal cities of Shanghai, Shenzhen (sp?), Guangzhou, Xiamen, Jinan, Qindao/Tshingdao, etc., a little bit of poking around on the Internet would surely provide you with some links.

Please try my advice and see what happens, etc..

Whereever you seek work, please do not apply for a job at Guangzhou's Lingnan Polytechnic University-College in Dong-Pu-Dong because many, many incredibly evil Communists await the naive E.F.L.er who lands upon their damned campus.

Respectfully yours,

R & B

I am beginning to wonder about Korea. All the people who work in Korea on these boards seem bitter and angry.
