I'm looking to download some "nightclub" CDs that a lazy DJ might be able to put on in a club and just let it roll.

I've already downloaded The Thrillseekers: Nightmusic Volumes 1&2

Both of these CDs, which I downloaded as a single mp3 file each, can be played right through with quality sound and no lulls.

Can anyone think of any other CDs that are similar?

Download Soulseek and search for any big name DJ - you'll find plenty of mixes to download.

Or just find a proper DJ.

Basement Jaxx's "Rooty" and "Kish Kash" are both pretty awesome from beginning to end.

2 many DJs - "As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2" is an amazing mix of music and everyone is pretty much guaranteed to recognize some of it.

Ditto any of the 'Back to Mine' compilations, if you want a more chilled vibe. And I never thought I'd say this, but Armand van Helden's album Ghetto Blaster is fucking ace (if you want some retro house).

For lounging:

Not too difficult to find. Chilled and dubby in a Teutonic kind of way.

Difficult to find, but very chilled and housey in a Mohonian balearic kind of way.

You can download Pete Tong DJ mixes that run for hours - I liked James Zabiela's.

go here, http://www.newmixes.com got a million mixes free for straight download, think you need to be using firefox, but not sure. all depends on what genre your looking for, my poison of choice is currently breaks. also depends on where you plan on playing this music, are you wnating people to be raving around the place or just bobbing their heads, any essential mix will be good, though they will hav the odd radio jingle thrown in. you pulling a fatboy slim and pretending to mix while you play someone elses cd?
