Itaewon (towards Noksapyeong) has a lot of vendors trying to sell bags and suitcases.
There is also North Face, Columbia, etc. |

Don't buy in Itaewon; they will rip you off. At Namdaemun there are a bunch of outdoor gear retailers near the Hoeyheon bus station. You can find Arc'teryx, Black Yak, Gregory, and others there. You can also go to the main entrance of Bukhansan National Park. There are a bunch of outdoor retailers there too, and they often have some deals. |

Yeah, I second that. Both backpacks I bought there from vendors (yeah, I know, but I was trying to save money) broke. I would try Namdaemun as well... |

Bought my honey a backpack from Namdaemun, too. We went together to make sure it was the right fit. The best area in the Namdaemun market is on the road that runs to Myeongdong and Chungmuro. I think that would be the south side. |

If you know your exact size, or if you only need a daypack, that's a good option. If you need an overnight/multi-day big bag, it's important to make sure it's the right size for weight distribution. |

What are some good brands I should look for? I will be travelling for about 2 months, and need something that won't rip.
Thanks guys! |

I have a super tough Arctyryx I could sell you, it needs a bath though. Bought it in Vancouver last year. |

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I can't post new ones yet.
I'm looking for a dependable backpack for probably month long trips, max. So I guess around 60 liters?
My criteria are:
-under $250
-comfortable
-available in Seoul
-reliable
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
