I have been looking at getting insurance in my home country that will cover my belongings whilst living in Korea for a year. The only thing that really does it is normal travel insurance which cost anything from 150 up. This type of insurance is more suited to people backpacking and is heavily based on medical cover which is something I don't need to pay for as I will be paying with my job.

What type of insurance can I get to cover my belongings in the apartment? I have things like laptop, xbox, ipod and other electronic gizmos. Do you get home insurance in Korea or is there some other insurance I should be looking at in the UK?
