Hubby used to work all over town before he started his own business, and going into this office building or that one, he invested in a ton of suits.

Quite the dandy he was, in his day. Alas, after we got married, had a kid, and since he now works for himself, the suits are no longer worn, and are actually outgrown now.

If you can get in them, and are fairly slim, you might find them a great deal. They're mainly navy, charcoal, etc. Nothing too shiny, flashy or trendy. Waist around 32 inches, and he's 5 foot 7.

All were made from custom tailors in Itaewon, 300-500 bucks a pop.

If you can fit in them, you can give hubby whatever they're worth to you.

If you're a first year teacher, and want "instant respect" from Koreans, suits are the way to go. PM me and we can set up a time for you to come try them on.

We live in East Seoul, near Technomart.

I wouldn't mind some suits and about that size. Is there any way to get a few photos of them and also an idea of price?
Cheers.

Sure, pm me a regular email address and I'll send you some pics.

We're thinking 100 each, or 5 for 400.

He used to have over a dozen, but he purged out the oldest, more worn ones last winter. These are the ones he was really hoping to fit into again.

He's quite sad about his waistline. But I guess he sees it about being consistent - he he wants me to keep my wardrobe down to a minumum (NOT going to happen since we're planning on having another kid in a year or two and you need the whole range of fat/nonfat clothes), he figures he needs to give up the fantasy of fitting into his suits again.

They'll hold up well to alterations too, I reckon.

Totally a steal - they'll probably pay for themselves in a month, with the money Koreans like to throw at guys in suits. Wink

Careful. You cannot fit a man's suit over the internet -- particularly custom made ones. You would need the chest, shoulder, arm, and length to even begin. There is nothing that commands instant regret than a suit that doesn't fit.

That's why we're recommending people come and try them on. For 400 bucks, for sure, you'd want to try them on. Oh, did I forget to mention that they're used?

It would be a good idea to post measurements: Sleeve from shoulder and center of back; Length from bottom of collar; chest; shoulders from seam to seam. For pants, waist size and length (at least). You can look on e-bay for standard measurements to provide when selling suits.
Good luck with the sale.
