Is there a reason you can't ask someone at your school?

Yes, there's a reason. I'm not at a public school!

Did you have a couple of extra days off between the May 5th & 12th long weekends?

It seems schools that had an extra 'break' during part (or all) of that week in May are having their summer vacation 'shortened' by an equivalent amount.

Nope. April 30th to May2nd exams (I am at school), May 6th off (school holiday) and work the rest of the week. Anyhow, no big woop. I gotta be here no matter what.

So you're just asking the question out of curiosity then? Anyway as you've seen above it varies. My school begins vacation on July 22nd

It's only two extra days.

My school is finished on the 19th, but that is Saturday and I don't have to work Saturday. So 18th for me.

Expect a lot of down time between now and then. After exams most students think the vacation has started. Try to get your lap top working with the school televisons and show movies. Trying to actually teach after exams is not worth the effort.

Well, of course it's out of curiosity. Your post made me laugh out loud. Why else would I ask a question like that? Smile Very Happy
