Yesterday I discovered Naver's cool map function:
http://maps.naver.com/
You just click the part of the map you want to go to and keep zeroing in on your target.
Then today I discovered this interesting tool. It allows you to input Korean romanization for non-Korean computers. As you type, you see the Korean characters pop up.

I had to find the location of the office where I will process my severance pay next week. I'm travelling into Daegu city and need to fidn it quickly. I had the Korean building and "building number", so I typed in the romanization until the Korean characters all matched my written address. After than I cut and pasted it into the map search input and voila! a little arrow popped up showing me the exact building that I needed to go to.
Enjoy! |

I played with that hangul generator a bit and it's kind of cool. I couldn't figure out how to make the 뭐 or 왜 characters, though. I'm sure there are others. i just played with it for a minute. |
