Can anyone recommend (or dissuade against) a resort they've stayed at on Phuket for December??

I'm most interested in Kamala, Karon, or Kata beaches. (No Patong!)

Money is not a major concern, but comfort is.

I recently stayed at the Hilton on Karon Beach, and I was very satisfied. That being said, it was quite expensive.

You could try 3rd street cafe or Southern Fried Rice for cheaper alternatives.
