Has anyone ever worked for a company named Khan English School? Apparently there are many schools setup throughout South Korea under that company. I am being offered a position for one of their locations in Busan. Any experience with the company in general, or with the specific location in Busan?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ummmm, he was basically harassed and threated with a court order

after he walked out.... Sad

I worked at a Khan English School in Busan for a bit.

I think with any school regarless of it's name, it all depends on the people that work there (owners, managers and other co-workers).

When I was there, it was good times. Then, after I left, I heard it went down hill. It was a mixture of mess ups from the staff as well as problems with the foreign teachers there. I sort of saw it coming right before I left. Kind of like what came first, the chicken or the egg.

The books and classes are fine. A little different that some schools but in some ways, easier.

All I can suggest is to do a check with the teachers that are working there now. If they seem like fun guys and people that you wouldn't mind working with, they make it sound like the school is a fun place to work, then it's probably a good decision to work there. If not, then look elsewhere.
