I am in America. Not sure what the US Postal Service offers.
My problem is that at this time I do not want to have anyone in particular look over my mail here once I've gone to Korea (partially a matter of trust and part is privacy). I sort of doubt the USPS will forward a bunch of stuff overseas (?). I sort of doubt they will even do it for a charge, does anyone know?
While I can contact a number of senders and tell them where I will go I certainly can't do it for everyone, and just as well there are a few which address can't change (I have a few rebates coming to me in a few months, as an example). So does anyone know how I could get my mail forwarded to me, even if it costs quite a bit?
My only guess is perhaps one could go to one of those 'private' post offices, that are run like a business. But from what I understand is that they are always booked up when it comes to renting private mail boxes and again I've never heard they actually offer overseas service. What did some of you other guys or gals do in this situation (besides have parents do it)? |

Mailboxes, Etc. is the work of the Devil. But they will forward your mail overseas for a price. |

here's what we've been doing for years. have your mail sent to somebody you trust etc (parents etc) they can forward it on to you via global priority mail. For $9 you can fill a big envelope and it gets here in about a week. Customs will never look at it |
