I've already written to the Canadian embassy via the consular section about this, and I'm just awaiting the reply, expecting it to be slow because of Canada Day.
I'm a little nervous, though, since we'll be traveling at the end of July.
Anyway, my son's passport with extension has been long coming. Is it possible that it got lost in the mail? If not, I guess the consulate folk will fill me in when they get back to me. If so, what will I do? They'll tell me, but I'm anxious about waiting till Wednesday to hear about this. |

They send it by secure mail and you must sign for it--so if doesn't arrive you won't be accountable. The time consuming part is the papperwork-Id guess they will sort it quickly.
But then again this is the government,,,,,,, |

Cool.
I hope it arrives today or tomorrow, or they get back to me tomorrow. I just want to get it or get it replaced before I go away at the end of July. |
