I just yelled at my boyfiend after discovering that he has been using
my very expensive perfume for air freshner after his bowel movements.
WTF!!
I yelled at him and he acted like I was the one over-reacting |

Did he know it was very expensive perfume? Did he know that you would prefer he not do that?
Us dudes are kind of like kids sometimes. We don't learn unless taught, and you can't assume it's a common sense thing. Maybe he didn't know it wasn't air freshener? Maybe he was just trying to be nice and not expose you to his poo gas.
Everyone should get AT LEAST one strike.
Now, if he does it again once he knows it upsets you, you can freely nail him to the wall. |

Should you not be judging people by their intentions? Clearly he was trying to do the right thing. |

Funny, you'll be angry for a while but then you'll see the genius of it |

Why do you keep your fancy perfume next to the toilet? |

Everyone's nose is different: I got some Calvin Kilne spray - I call it fly spray - it has that chemically smell. I bet your boyfriend couldn't care less about the perfume. He probably doesn't like it, and would rather use it for other purposes than you putting it all over your body. |

Any guy who claims not to know what expensive perfume looks like either doesn't have sisters, mom left home early, never lived with a girl or was abducted by wolves at a young age.
Tell him he can use it, as long as he replaces it. He will stop. He knows its expensive, he just doesn't care. |

or buy a cheap one to use instead.
or don't leave it in the W/C
another point is i've seen cheap ones designed for that purpose but in designer bottles. not super expensive but ..
was your perfume Kenzo flowers?
if it was, easy mistake to make as its quite a common toilet air freshner bottle. sells for 1,000 won. |

Don't have sisters, Mom never touched the stuff. My girlfriends bathed regularly so there was no need to spray something on to cover up the funk.
To the op
Is there another form of anti-stink in the area for him to use? Would you have complained if he left it a stink? |

Your mom and your girlfriends are most definitely not the typical woman. Perfume is not used to cover up funk either. Do you aftershave in a place of a shower? |

Every guy in the world has on at least one occasion used a little more cologne than normal after over sleeping. So, yes. |

Get cheap bottle and put it in the can. It works better than aire freshener any way. |
