PS3 GTA4 PAL but sold me a NTSC PS3...

So I got 2 NTSC games but the GTA4 version he sold me is PAL. So I get the

You can not play this game at the current video output setting.
(80028F10)

Got it from a guy in Yongsan IPARK on the 7th floor. Am I screwed or what? Anyway to get this workin?

I have a component video cable but...

I shoulda checked........

Most tvs can play both just change the setting on the tv then on the xbox/ps

Really? What kind of setting am I lookin to adjust? NTSC to PAL? Korean menu... Sad

Edit: Anyways I looked all over the menu and didn't have any luck... LG Platon tv. It has component ins...

You have an HD capable TV?

Or are you talking about a yellow red and white in?

Red Blue and Green for Video, White and Red for audio. I believe it's component... anyways I tried GTA4 with both the AV and component AV PS3 cable and they both give me the same error.

So I'm thinking it's a PAL/NTSC thing. NTSC PS3, PAL GTA4... even Google searches haven't been too clear on this whole thing. Help appreciated.

My tv is ntsc only. It's not an HD. I think it's either get an HD tv (too expensive) or find the ntsc version of gta4. My LCD monitor does have a DVI though. Hm.

That is 480i in. Not anythng else fancy

Not HD so it won't play a PAL game on an NTSC TV

Then buy an HDMI to DVI cable.

For audio you can tell the PS3 to output the audio through the red and white cables to your external speakers - buy a mini jack to RCA female cable if you need one

If you need hdmi and/or dvi to hdmi cables go to Yongsan. Walk to the above ground, tubular tunnel, you'll see a bunch of Cisco billboards. When you get the end, walk downstairs, there is a guy who sells A/V cables of all kinds. Hdmi and hdmi to dvi cables are 8k Won each.

You only need an HDMI to DVI cable.

As the poster above said about 8k
