Ok so just a quick question about my pension return. My contract states that I am under contract until August 31st (a Sunday) and my school believes I am leaving Korea on September 1st (a Monday) but in actuality do to the fact that I don't work on weekend I am leaving Korea on the 29th of August (Saturday).
Now this is probably a silly and stupid question but since the pension office needs to see a copy of your ticket out of here do you think I am going to have a problem because my ticket is before my contract is officially up?
Does anyone seeing any issues with this? Do they even take a copy of the ticket or do the just take a look at it to see that you're leaving the country?

They won't worry that you are leaving a couple days early.
They may delay payout until after your final contributions are made (if they are forwarding it to your foreign bank account you won't notice this short delay).
They do take a copy of the ticket, your ARC (or ARC number) and passport (to ensure that you qualify for the refund). |
