I am interested in doing a stint in Korea at a summer camp. There is a posting for an F-4 visa at 4 mil for 4 weeks. I've searched through the threads and read mostly negative comments about Pagoda (high turnover, terrible management, student based evals on teachers, split shifts, and that they overwork teachers).

This would be my FIRST time teaching English. I heard summer camps can be tough in general, but how about a Pagoda summer camp?

Does anyone have experience doing summer camps for Pagoda?

How difficult will it be for a newbie GYOPO with F-4 visa to find a summer camp job before coming to Korea? Do they usually have you sign a contract (so that I can at least secure something on paper before purchasing my airfare)?

Any help would be appreciated.
