Hi all,
Anyone interested in taking over my position in Gwangyang Eup?
I am in a small Hakwon with a Korean english teacher and a teaching director. My director converses fluently so I haven't had any communication problems. We have a relaxed work environment, very social and friendly. There are also two maths teachers and a Hanja teacher for variety.
We work in the afternoon/evenings with hours brought forward a bit during the holidays. Normal hours are 2pm to 7:30 or 8:15. The usual 30 45 minute classes per week.
I have lived in a very nice two room (unshared) apartment for two years which my replacement will get.
Gwangyang Eup is a small country town with a nice feel. It is about 10 minutes by bus from the 'party' side of Suncheon and there are plenty of buses. Gwangju is 55 minutes away by bus.
Anybody interested in helping the kids learn English in a fun and friendly manner pm me please. Hopefully someone with a bit of professionalism, an awareness of the problems of second language learning (perhaps some second language capability would be a good thing in this game?) and an empathy with the kids who are as normal and fun loving as anywhere!
Cheers

Some questions:
1. Did you get pension paid by the school?
2. Where you provided with Health Insurance?
3. Were you forced to work overtime?
4. Were you paid for flights?
5. Why are you leaving?
6. What was your accommodation like?
7. Have any teachers left without completing the work contract? Why?
If you answer my questions, I could be interested in applying. |
