Yes, (assuming it was refundable in the first place). It just takes longer.
IF you are planning to return it, the best place to get it is the actual airline ticket office.
If you pay cash you can expect a refund within 30 days ( official policy for many of them) and often as fast as a week. If you pay by credit card it will be credited back to your card within 3 working days.
