So I'm on vacation back home in the USA, and just dropped a $300 wad on clothes. Quality is better, and got REAL name-brand shirts by DKNY, among others. With sales and a 20% discount for making a card with Younkers, I paid $10 less per shirt than what it's been costing me to make lower-quality no-named shirts from Hamilton Shirts in Itaewon.

Have decided I'm done buying shirts from Hamilton. I've been buying there for 6 years, and the quality now pretty much sucks. Prices have creeped up to become far more expensive than I'm willing to pay -- especially if I can get prices like this when I come home on vacation.

Seoul is getting too expensive.

Yep, America rules for Dockers, jeans, shoes, and things.

Yes, I went shopping at an Emart today and the quality of clothing sucks while the appliances and electronics are just phenomenal to say the least. Clothing here sucks unless it's sporting goods which seem to be fairly decent such as hiking shoes.

I noticed the men's clothing department looks even more like the ladies department this year over last year. There were really pretty sheer blouses and sparkling pink and purple shirts available as well as all this generic sissified stuff such as capri pants which was a western women's style. It appears cross dressing could be the next big thing for young men around here as the styles are getting so feminine. I'd be embarrassed to wear most of the men's clothing for sale today. It's the young men's look now days. You can't even find masculine bedding as it's all women themed so I got one pretty set to go on the bed. I got a nice pair of kakki dress slacks and a short sleeved button shirt to add to my work clothes.

I thought this was a conservative culture, but apparently it's quickly changing.

I miss wearing Caarhart jeans. Call me white trash, straight out the trailor, whatever. I miss wearing them. I had one pair when I came here but one of my students splashed ink all over them and ruined them. Couldn't find another pair since.
