i live life, i see people needing the motivation to wake up in the morning, get to a job they hate, deal with the daily boredom that makes it all seem meaningless.
why are there so many people on here (and other places) who think theyve transcended this? people with names like poet57? im 27 and i think the free market is what tells the truth. look at where we are. what have you actually accomplished? do your actions, daily thoughts, internet posts show an understanding of this? |

Dear Citizen Goth,
Do your students often ask you about your black nail polish and choker chain?
I'm sorry about your parents divorce though, fo' real. That s--- hurts.
It's not your fault.
Signed,
Well-Adjusted People |

What have I accomplished? Getting out from under the burdensome US tax system and saving a buttload of money. Oh, uh and getting married.....hmmm......taking many vacations that most people I know will never see in their lifetimes.....next question.
If you want to make a legitimate point try something other than arguing that your vision of the world is superior because you chose engineering while someone else chose the medical field. |

Oh great, giving 55 yr olds a bad name.
And careful what you say about engineers, Sidney Poitier's character, the teacher in To Sir With Love, is an engineer too. |

is there something you're trying to contribute to the rest of the board? and what, exactly, are you trying to say? haven't you posted more than your fair share of questions for the unenlightened masses to throw out some transcendental answers to? |

Ok, the OP sounds like a mean, farked up 55 year old with nothing good to say and who isn't an engineer. But who has a degree in French philosophy. And a head injury. |

ah, Kirk, that's more like it.
(but you know someone's still being insulted somewhere!)
As for OPs

... it's called, 'hit the ground running', even if it means just getting to the loo to relieve those leaky pipes. |
