I don't get why it seems they are arguing every morning in main school office. It's annoying and makes me nervous as I can't understand what people are saying or meaning, but the sound is not good. We're talking about raising voices, fast talking, stressed inflections, and a real serious tone, but with a little laughing included. I know the laughing is the type people make when they're uncomfortable.
And that's another one of my whining about Korea posts. And there you have it ladies and gentlemen. |

I saw it three days ago and wondered about it. It's deadpan but the 'little laughter' thrown in gives it away. It's a venting behavior. Instead of having a real blowout it's a way to fake it, like a fake orgasm.
Maybe it's also a comic simulation of being at the Pentagon handling WW3. In the upper echelon of control and logistics. |

I know exactly what you're talking about.
Let me tell you what it is...it's complete unprofessionalism, that's what it is!
Team goals are achieved more effectively when emotions (especially negative emotions) are kept OUT of the workplace. As we all know, their organisational culture is based on counterproductive work-systems, fulled by emotion. European business used to be conducted in that manner back in the middle ages, but then they realised that applying logic and reason leads to a happier and more productive workforce. Negative feelings will always arise, but the western system of dealing with problems in the workfore is better. A colleague expresses the problem, and the management uses REASON and LOGIC and INITIATIVE to solve the problem, or even make organisational changes if need be. With their authoritarian system of (mis)management, any resoning human being will get stressed and ultimately leave the job. My hogwon has a rate of staff turnover that is unbelievable. Do they change?...of course not.
When i have to sit there and listen to their shit, it makes my adrenal glands explode (a natural human reaction) and want to stand up and punch somebodies lights out! I should not have to listen to this shit! It's unprofessional and it's as simple as that.
Who is losing out at the end of the day?.....the employees because they have so much "stress-uh"
....and the children cos they're not learning as much English as they could. |
