Hey, I'm leaving to work for SMOE in August. I'm just wondering how many of you tried to learn some Korean prior to leaving for Korea. Am I going to be completely helpless? If anyone can tell me how quickly they were able to adapt to living in Korea, with the language barrier it would be much appreciated.
