Anyone figured out how to access the regular youtube USA site? I have found the UK site (http://uk.youtube.com) which is almost as good, it just irks me that I can't access the normal US site since youtube keeps trying to autodirect me to the Korean site. |

Use one of the many proxy services. I like:
http://www.vtunnel.com/
Just type youtube.com in there and you're golden. |

I did indeed. That's how I found the UK site. It doesn't have the American flag though. UK's definitely better than squiggly lines (I mean, the Korean language). |

If you choose "Global" from that list, you get the American site. |
