I just received my visa issuance number for an e-2 visa. I'm currently working in another country and would like to try to get my visa sometime this week. However, I won't actually be going to Korea until Aug. 25th. Does anyone know if there is a limitation on how far in advance you can get the visa before actually entering Korea? Thanks in advance. |

Once the visa is in your passport, you have 3 months to actually enterKorea and activate it. After three months, you need to go through the process again to get another visa put in the passport. |

Your visa confirmation number is good for 90 days. You must get your visa within that time frame or it will expire and you will have to begin again.
AFTER you get your visa placed into your passport you have 90 days to enter Korea or IT will expire and you have to begin all over again.
