Is anyone playing TFII here in Korea? I was wondering if there are many low-ping well-populated servers. I'm looking for some regular multiplayer deathmatches and such.

Also, does Steam work well with Korean VISA cards?

Thanks for the help.

I just got (back) to Korea and brought TEam Fortress II with me. As soon as I get Internet here I'll be playing. I hope there's a decent amount of players.

I used to play F.E.A.R. here on Cuban Lord's server -- at least I think it was his server. Maybe he's hosting TE2 now?

TF2 has a lot of strategy to it when you can play more than one class. During the free trial there were millions of noob pyros running around everywhere making it lame as well. Might not be everyone's style but it's certainly a good game.

Well I bought TF2 from Steam (7 Gigs!!!). It's a great game and there are plenty of servers in Korea. I like Battlefield 2142 better, but this is a great game for it's class. Also, it was only $20 for permanent online play and updates through the Steam program.

BTW - You might see this game in your local E-mart, but it's in Korean and I don't know if it's changeable to English.

I've been playing Battlefield 2142 online in Korea, but there are very few servers. However, as long as you stick with servers under 200 ping it's usually OK. These are usually Japan/Taiwan/China.

I wish the Battlefield series was more popular here. It's such a great game. I think Koreans would love it if they had the opportunity to try it out.
